Los salvajes de la bandera roja follows a more radical Mexican Revolution, the anarcho-syndicalist, and its immediate effects: the discrediting campaign against these revolutionaries and the conservative counterrevolution they maintained in Baja California and for several decades from 1911, military men such as Celso Vega and Esteban Cantú, as well as Porfirista intellectuals such as Rómulo Velasco Ceballos and Enrique Aldrete.
