"Video again" is the name of the cycle of 11 individual exhibition modules of outstanding contemporary artists. The cycle features single-channel video format that will play a continuous mode. Although the presentations are individual, the cycle comprises formal and conceptual a whole where each video is presented as part of a larger project, which aims to reflect on the relationship between art, economics, body and violence away from the classical Latin American imaginary, and looked away for some who take these issues from a politically correct or complacent. In thematic terms, all the selected works in this curatorial privilege a direct and frontal view in relation to the matters set forth, but without succumbing to the fascination for video support, but rather, using the medium as a tool of share register (in line with an economy of means), which are often provocative and front yet poetic and committed to social and political problems that plague everyday contemporary societies. On the other hand, it shows also aims to present Latin American art scene, except that with the exception of a few artists, remains unknown in Chile and our local environment to encourage reflection on the relationship between art and politics from the perspective of the use of video and performance as media and major media, culminating in the publication of a book at the end of the cycle.
